How it will work

The same foundation as regular BluGame — no internet, no account

For players, Custom BluGame games aren't a separate app — they're an extension of the one players already have, so they don't install anything extra.

Your venue broadcasts a code

A device at your place (venue, event) broadcasts over Bluetooth — exactly as locally and offline as the rest of BluGame.

Guests in range unlock the content

The player's app automatically detects and verifies the code — no typing anything, no internet.

They play content only available at your place

Outside the range of your venue, that content disappears — what's custom stays custom.

How we protect against abuse

Can someone redeem our reward at a different venue?

No. Every reward claim is cryptographically signed by both the player's app and your device — only your venue's staff can redeem it, even if someone tried to submit a forged claim.

Can the same reward be redeemed twice?

No — the system remembers every redemption. Showing the same QR code again is automatically rejected.

What happens if we stop paying the subscription?

Personalization and unlocked content switch themselves off, with nothing to manually disable — within a maximum of ~36 hours of the payment lapsing.

Can someone show our personalization somewhere else?

It can't be "relayed" over the internet or shown to players elsewhere — the device has to reconfirm physical proximity to your centralka every 15 minutes.

How is a player's identity secured?

In hardware — keys held in the phone's Keychain (iOS) or Keystore (Android). Never stored in plain text.

Does the system know an achievement actually happened in the game?

Here we're honest: not fully. The system protects against reusing the same reward and against redeeming it at the wrong venue — but whether an achievement actually happened relies on the player's own app. If you want a stronger guarantee for a specific reward, we recommend conditioning it on something your staff verifies in person anyway.
